“Services to Abused Families, Inc., (SAFE) is committed to breaking the cycle of domestic and sexual violence by providing a safe haven and support services for domestic and sexual violence victims and their children. Through community educational and prevention programs, we strive to eliminate the negative effects and incidents of domestic violence.” SAFE has programs in place throughout the five Piedmont counties of Culpeper, Orange, Madison, Fauquier, and Rappahannock.
SAFE follows the mission through providing shelter to families in immediate need and relocation if necessary; support with navigating the legal system, employment, and connection to services; adult and child support groups; basic everyday necessities allowing individuals to care for themselves and their children; and anything that helps the family not only leave a dangerous situation, but begin to thrive in a safe environment. In the last year, SAFE helped 293 people (237 adults, 56 children) in our five county regions.
SAFE depends on your support to underwrite its’ programs serving children and families in need in the Piedmont community. Your participation will help support this important work.
